A drinking water refill unit that was put in place in Athlone's train station has prevented a need for more than 10,000 plastic bottles since its installation, according to Irish Rail.

Help us make a decision…

Every summer we drag our mobile bar to the Midlands Craft Beer Festival at Dons Bar Moate.

This year the festival is on August 26th, but we need your help making a decision. Every year for the last three years, we’ve brewed our much loved Moaterboat (Raspberry Cream Ale on Nitro).

It’s always gone down a storm, but we’re thinking it might be time for something new. So…to brew or not to brew Moaterboat…that is the question!
