Kwantlen Farmers’ Market is a place to unite the local Richmond community and celebrate the work of human hands — from the soil, from the kitchen, from the sewing machine, and

more. We are committed to fostering connections between producers and consumers while highlighting ecologically-sensitive agricultural practices. The market promotes KPU’s Sustainable Agriculture and Farm School programs — education programs for new farmers to learn holistic agriculture practices and how to build their own agricultural businesses. There is free parking, and your friendly pet on a leash is welcome!

Fresh greens take a bath in Nutrition Yeast Dressing aka Hollyhock Dressing aka Nooch. Who's tried it? What's your favourite salad dressing? Go green today at the Kwantlen Farmers Market from 12-4, in the heart of downtown City of Richmond - then share your recipes here, and be sure to tag us in your pics! 😍

Legendary Hollyhock Salad Dressing:

1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup tamari
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup nutritional yeast (they look like golden yellow flakes)
2 cloves minced garlic (totally optional)

1.5 cups neutral oil (safflower, avocado, canola, etc…)

BLEND THE FIRST 4-5 INGREDIENTS LISTED ABOVE, THEN VERY SLOWLY DRIZZLE OIL THROUGH THE HOLE IN THE LID OF YOUR BLENDER, WHILE THE BLENDER IS RUNNING. IT WILL GET THICK AND EMULSIFY. KEEPS IN FRIDGE 7-10 DAYS.
